Last night saw the launch of party to celebrate Dolce & Gabbana’s arrival at NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER. Over three hundred lovely guests ventured westwards and scooted round the late night shoppers desperate to get into Hollister for yet another brightly coloured t-shirt. Though to be fair that was prob just me, am sure the VIPs were ushered through in a much more subtle way.
Hosted by NET-A-PORTER & MR PORTER in their very lovely offices, we drank (delicious Grey Goose martinis and Martini Gold - lush and am hangover free this morning), celeb spotted, had a canape or two and gossiped.
The party was fantastic, the music banging and if you haven’t heard of Sunday Girl yet, make it your mission today. Her set midway through the night was fantastic.
The great, the good, the ‘anyone that could get their hands on a ticket’ were there. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were at hand to chat with everyone, which they did impeccably making even the most lowly blogger (moi) feel at home. Quick thanks to AnastasiaDuck for taking our photo. As soon as I have it in my grubby digital paws it will be going up here.

It was great to meet several other bloggers and chat about random things while surrounded by many beautiful people, including Queen Latifah, Naomi Campbell, Jo Wood, Patrick Grant, Jade Parfitt, Messrs David Gandy and Douglas Booth. Both of whom I can personally vouch indeed are gorgeous in the flesh.

True to their social media embracing selves in one room was a projection of our live tweets using the #dolcegabbanalive. (A photo of which will be up here as soon as I get back to my MacBook) Though am somewhat hoping my ‘Shower, G&T and Nina Simone prep tweet may not have made it! The other rooms were filled quickly with celebs, and I’m gutted I didn’t leap on the Vespas complete with wind machine and Italian backdrop to be papped for my souvenir postcard. The offices themselves were lovely and impeccably stylish, which is exactly what we would expect from Jeremy Langmead and Natalie Massenet. Though I’m told the ‘chill out rooms’ aka meeting rooms are not normally so chock full of celeb loveliness. A fact I’m choosing to ignore.

All in all it was great night, and the chat continued in the taxi back into the heart of South East London with fellow bloggers 00o00 & Anastasia and Duck. But we were really there to welcome Dolce & Gabbana to the MR PORTER fold so have a look here at the great range available now, and for the ladies check out NET-A-PORTER.
