I’m no veggie and love my steak, so having a lazy Sunday afternoon peruse of Mr Porter, I loved coming across this. Steak should be thick, barely seasoned and in my mind anyway practically still able to moo!
It’s not fashion, but hey it’s the weekend.

The ever expanding range of Pantone products has now extended to postcards. AMAZING! Forget photos of whatever place you were on holiday (I’m jealous enough already), forget vintage photos with witty captions (seriously I’ve seen it before), this is ridiculously cool. Perfect for scribbling a little thank you for a gift, dinner or the like.
Actually that’s not a bad idea, grabbing a collection of beautiful postcards to send as thank you notes. We should do this kind of thing more.
Trouble is once I’ve bought this box I don’t know if I could part with them, and what colours do you send to what people. Is crimson appropriate way to thank your gran for that birthday present? Should I colour match the card to the hideous socks I’ve been given? Perhaps a brilliant orange will best describe the glorious sunset I just saw above the beach on holiday?
I dont really care, I just want to have this little box of loveliness at on my coffee table.
Pantone Postcards, really want u.u

Ok so I may not be the biggest fan of Terry Richardson, admittedly I mean the person whom I’ve never met just heard about so I really shouldn’t judge. We all have our public personas some I guess are more public than others. From what I’ve seen his is pretty creepy. But maybe he’s just being more honest than the rest of us.
As for his work, well yeah some of shots are undeniable in their brilliance. Photography isn’t a skill I really possess. Sure I can point and click like the best of them and having scoured fashion magazines for years some ideas on composition and light have been absorbed. But I really don’t know what I’m doing. So I can say without any malice it’s a gift I’m jealous of. His knack of really getting the subject to open up is almost a mirror to LaChapelle’s over production.
But regardless of my thoughts check this photo of Liza out! The woman is 65! If anyone can look that good at 65 hats of to them, and yeah I’ve no doubt that she’s been retouched within an inch of her life. Also she’s had more work than the Forth Bridge, but forget that. Look at this photo it’s incredible. It’s like Cabaret was only yesterday, and lets be honest there’s no way Michael York is looking like this now.
So hats of to Terry and of course Liza. Great shot in the latest issue of LOVE magazine.
Updated with more pics from Terry’s Tumblr. She kills it!

Simply brilliant..but how many of the 39 can you name?
An incredible 39 song mashup….I want to learn to do this. Mezmerising!
