Jaeger are definitely onto a winner with this trench. Surprisingly a large part of their store was still in sale this week.
Jaeger are a quality classic brand and whilst their jacket block is a bit long for the younger guy, they deserve to be doing better.
Let’s hope this trench is a step in the right direction.
Pantone iPhone 4 Cases
Imagine trying to define every colour in the world. You know that red you saw the other week that would be perfect. Now try describing it to someone thats never seen it. So it was kinda like a postbox, but a bit London bus like, but not as deep as a traffic light. It’s impossible!
Well in designland someone already has. Pantone references are excellent and mean even if you’re chatting to someone the fair side of the globe you know excatly what shade you are getting.
But knowing how geeky us design lot are those clever at Pantone are slowly creating a Pantone world. Boxes, chairs and more are all becoming sorted into the correct Pantone way. Large swatch of colour and then the reference.
Its almost too much for my design mind to handle! When I saw these in Paris I got ridiculously excited! The husband teased about which one I would buy, as though such a decision could be made on a whim! At €35 they arent the cheapest covers but they are quite simply design geek porn. I want them all! I’ll probably start with colour 226.They are brought to you by the Case Scenario a Monaco based company,and I have yet to find a UK supplier. I will though!
ps If any of you get them before I do, (and don’t gift one my direction) it may be the end of our friendship.

So I know my wishlist is longer than a queue at Argos returns on Boxing Day but can we tack these bad boys on to it please. They may need to go somewhere high on the wishlist as its getting cold, and I suspect these may be a the shoe version of a gansaí nollaig (Christmas Jumper)
Love them and they look super warm. Besides even though I may well be wearing a check shirt right now isn’t time we moved the pattern on a bit. To boots maybe? Trousers no, but boots I definitely think we can do.

Quite simply a failure for these to be delivered to my home or office is a crime.
To be honest I am definitely still all over the big boot thing, like gravy on a Sunday Roast. But I think the need to be even bigger. Having said that I will obviously accept these with great courtesy from whoever sends them my way.

I’ve seen next season and it’s all about the biker jacket again. Yeah, yeah I know, I went all crazy about the aviator jacket. I still I am. What can I say I’m a leather jacket slut. Yep thats me! I’m greedy and want them all.
You see the aviator is perfect for winter. It’s all warm and chunky.
But this little sleek bad boy. Check him out! And yes I am most definitely talking about the jacket. The collar, the fit, the zipped cuffs, the belt all perfect.
PS: Having finished this post and doing a little more digging I discovered where this beauty is from. Go on have a guess…..yep thats right Burberry. This is no shocker, but I always like the affirmation that comes from liking a piece before discovering the designer. It means you really like it and not just the brand.

Please please can someone get me this! I love it and promise I will even relearn how to tell the time on an analogue watch properly. Stop laughing! Its difficult sometimes what with the hands not pointing at numbers exactly. Besides my phone has a clock on it, and thats all simple and digital and stuff. Right fine yes you can call me thick or whatever you want for not being able to read watches properly, so long as you buy me this watch.
If its available in black I’ll have that too thanks.

Not having grown up in the States the whole concept of letterman jackets is pretty bizarre to me. However in every single High School Drama, RomCom and Series its always the fittest blokes who get to wear these. Whether they are just dumb jocks or not, lets be honest 99 times out of 100 they are the people that ruled the school. I sure as hell didnt but I want a piece of that. Obviously I want this in post-modern and ironic way in order to subvert the medieval hierarchical system of school popularity. And other such rubbish. Look to be honest I just think these jackets are cool as hell, and I want one.

Dear Santa,
How’s it going up there in the North Pole?
Just had a thought that could help us both out, for the last 29 years I’ve a reasonably good boy all year waiting for you to visit on Christmas eve with my reward. It’s a pretty good track record if you ask me, so I’ve got a poposal for you.
Based on previous good behaviour how about you drop this great LV suit round in the next couple of weeks and I’ll be good for the rest of the year. Like a credit system for good behaviour really. I’ll get a sexy suit and you’ll have one less delivery at Christmas.
It’s a win-win scenario if you ask me.

I dont even know what this is yet, but I want one! If it can do all this and more as easily as this it incredible. Of course now how do I sync my iPhone to this alledgedly kick ass Microsoft product. And did Microsoft completely outsource the design part of this cos lets be honest it looks a little too sexy to have anything to do with them.
